Cardiovascular Calcification in Diabetes

Additionally, specific medications may target vascular calcification processes. Regular cardiovascular assessments and screening for calcification can aid in early detection and intervention, ultimately improving outcomes for diabetic patients. Managing other risk factors, such as hypertension and dyslipidemia, is also essential in reducing cardiovascular complications.
