Antioxidants, such as vitamins C and E, and compounds found in fruits and vegetables, can help mitigate oxidative stress. Managing blood sugar levels through diet, exercise, and medication is essential to reduce oxidative damage and prevent the progression of diabetic complications, highlighting the importance of a comprehensive approach to diabetes management.
