Physical inactivity, often exacerbated by urban design that discourages active transportation, further heightens diabetes risk. Moreover, climate change can influence the distribution of food resources and exacerbate health disparities. Addressing these environmental factors is crucial for diabetes prevention and management, emphasizing the need for comprehensive public health strategies that promote healthier environments and lifestyles.
