Furthermore, chronic inflammation in the hypothalamus has been linked to insulin resistance. Research suggests that targeting hypothalamic pathways may offer new therapeutic approaches for diabetes management. Interventions such as caloric restriction, physical activity, and medications that influence hypothalamic signaling can enhance insulin sensitivity and improve metabolic health.
