Abstract:

Diabetes care is rapidly changing as new therapies; digital technologies and personalized healthcare approaches continue to improve the way the disease is managed. Due to the increasing global burden of diabetes, there is a growing need for healthcare strategies that focus on improvement of overall well-being, prevention of complications, and enhancement of the quality of life of patients. Nowadays, the new advancements in the field of medical research and technology help to make the treatment of diabetes more effective, accessible, and personalized to the individual needs of each patient. The major focus of this presentation is to explore these newer advancements involved in shaping the future of diabetes mellitus. It includes the role of innovative approaches, such as improved insulin delivery systems and advanced glucose-lowering medications, in accomplishment of better clinical outcomes. This presentation also involves a discussion about how digital health technologies such as continuous glucose monitoring, mobile health applications, telemedicine, wearable devices and remote patient monitoring help to both patients and healthcare professionals and thus improves day-to-day disease management. The importance of personalized patient care is also highlighted in this presentation, which showed that the adoption of personalized therapies helps the healthcare providers to design treatment plans that are more suitable for each patient and thus leads to improved treatment adherence, greater patient engagement and improved long-term outcomes.

Biography:

Rupesh K Gautam is currently working as professor, Centre for Pharmacology, at Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida. Gautam has more then 17 years of teaching and research experience. Gautam is featured in the list of world’s top 2% scientist -2025 released by Elsevier - Stanford University. Gautam is having more then 20,000 citation both in Scopus and google scholar. Gautam has more than 100 research and review articles to Gautam’s credit in various journals of repute. Gautam has also published twelve books and more than fifty book chapters with Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, Scivener, Bentham, nova etc. Gautam has published four patents and registered fourty two copyrights. Gautam has supervised 21 m. Pharm scholars. Gautam has also received grants from various government agencies/associations for conducting FDP/seminars/conferences/workshops. Gautam has attended and organized several international and national seminar, conferences and workshops as a team member and organizing secretary/coordinator. Gautam has been guest editor of phytomedicine, current pharmaceutical design, neuroscience and biobehavioral reviews, evidence-based complementary and alternative medicine and biomed research international.
