Dr. Iris Efthymiou is a distinguished academic and professional with a PhD in Behavioural Health Economics and over 15 years of experience in teaching, research, and strategic consulting. She has taught MBA and MSc-level courses in Leadership for Health and Social Care, Healthcare Innovation, and Global Public Health at top universities, and published over 50 scientific articles and 19 books. As a globally recognized speaker, she has delivered keynotes at the United Nations and spoken in over 30 countries, amassing more than 400 engagements. Her role as an Executive Advisor on Strategy and Innovation bridges academic expertise with real-world management challenges. Dr. Efthymiou serves as a Board Member of HAPSc and an academic board member at the Laboratory of Health Economics and Management (LabHEM), University of Piraeus. She is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Politics and Ethics in New Technologies and AI.
